Christ Centered Solution Focused Counseling

Holy Spirit Catholic School's counseling program consists of services designed to help students and families succeed academically, emotionally, socially, and vocationally. Counseling sessions are provided weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or on an as-needed basis, individually or in a group setting. Developmentally appropriate guidance lessons are provided monthly. The counselor utilizes an assortment of resources such as bibliotherapy, interactive lessons, technology, and games to match the needs of the campus. Each month the counselor assesses each grade and plans a lesson that is relevant for that grade level. For middle school, the counselor uses the Real Essentials Starting Point curriculum and/or any lesson that is relevant to the needs of the middle school.
