Support Holy Spirit
Throughout its history, Holy Spirit Catholic School has always committed itself to excellence in education rooted in Catholic tradition. This commitment to excellence in all areas leads to spiritual and intellectual growth in our students whereby each child leaves Holy Spirit Catholic School with a strong moral compass, leadership skills and the ability to think critically to successfully meet the challenges they will encounter in high school and beyond.
How is this accomplished? It is made possible through God’s blessing, dedicated teachers, staff & administration as well as a generous and supportive community. It takes everyone working together to maintain and promote excellence. However, like all Catholic schools, tuition alone is not enough to support Holy Spirit and maintain the excellent faith-filled education it provides. Holy Spirit must rely on its generous community to provide additional support through the school’s giving programs and fundraising events.
To help us accomplish our goals and maintain excellence, we ask for your support in three main ways:
- Financial Support
1. Prayer – As it says in the Catechism of the Catholic Church: “We know that God hears the prayer inspired by steadfast faith.” We ask that you pray for God’s continued blessings on our school and community as well as His guidance for our school, parish, and community leaders.
2. Involvement – Holy Spirit Catholic School is blessed with a community that gives generously of their time and talents. This spirit of volunteerism is important to both the success of the school and the formation of our children. By modeling a spirit of service we instill this value in our children and help ensure the continued success of our school. Parent volunteers are one of the reasons we are able to hold successful events such as the Gala, the golf tournament, family fun night, and various other events that contribute to the financial or communal well being of Holy Spirit. Thank you for your involvement. For more information about how you can volunteer, contact our P.T.C President, Karen Steingart or our Development Director, Brenda Del Rose.
In order to volunteer, you will need to complete the VIRTUS online training. VIRTUS Online Training Link
3. Financial Support – According to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, “By equipping our young people with a sound education, rooted in the Gospel message, the Person of Jesus Christ, and rich in the cherished traditions and liturgical practices of our faith, we ensure that they have the foundation to live morally and uprightly in our complex modern world.” This is what we strive to do at Holy Spirit Catholic School. Your financial support is vital for our success because tuition alone does not cover the actual cost of educating your children.
