Mass & Morning Prayer
Each student in PK3-3rd grade is partnered with a Mass Buddy from an older grade to act as a mentor and example. This special friendship often extends into other school activities as well.
Feast Days and holy days are celebrated throughout the liturgical calendar. Additionally, special days and events such as First Communion, 8th grade graduation, and grade level retreats (3rd-8th grade) are also celebrated with a Mass.
Students, faculty, staff, parents and community members gather on Wednesday mornings to celebrate mass as a faith community. Classes take turns leading the liturgy each week, providing readers and gift bearers. Music is provided by the music teacher, middle school music elective students, and other student volunteers from various grade levels.
Morning prayer is held at the start of each day over the school PA system. It is led by middle school students and incorporates traditional prayers, the school prayer, and any special intentions from the school prayer request book.
The adoration chapel is open to students, faculty, staff, parents and visitors daily for personal prayer, quiet reflection or community devotion. Religion teachers periodically take their students into the chapel to spend time in adoration and prayer.
